Meet our Adirondack Fireplace Family
Two Great Companies One committed Family
Back in 1919 Anthony Mormile had a dream to start a plumbing and
heating business in Amsterdam. Now 88 years later, that dream
continues to live through his grandson Art Jr. and his Wife Margo
Mormile, current owners of Mormile Plumbing and Heating. They are
joined by the fourth generation their children Josh, Jason, Shannon
and Justin and daughter in laws, Amanda, and Teresa.
Jason Mormile graduated in 1997 and joined the family in the
plumbing and heating business. Today he has continued to head up
this end of the business. He is consistently learning the latest in
the plumbing and heating trade to bring to our customers. He now
holds his own Master Plumber’s License and sits on the City of
Amsterdam Plumbing Board.
Shannon Mormile, Art and Margo’s only daughter, joined the company
right out of school in 1999 and works with her mom in the office.
She places all of the orders and keeps our warehouse fully stocked.
Occasionally she will be on the sales floor to help out.
Justin Mormile, the youngest of the family, joined us in 2002. Don’t
let his age fool you he has been installing fireplaces and stoves
with his brothers for over 5 years now. He is NFI Certified and
Factory trained in gas, wood and pellet appliances. He is our
install and service manager for the Fireplace Co.
Teresa Mormile, Jason’s wife, came on board in 2002. She handles the
account receivable department and processing all of the free
estimates that we offer our customers. She is the friendly voice
that you hear when you call us.
